ACCESSIBILITY

As a Finland-based visual artist with very limited resources, I am committed to making my personal website as accessible as possible. This is an ongoing process, and I appreciate your patience.

 

I have taken into consideration the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and various articles on web accessibility. Whilst I do my best to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility and make a continuous effort to fulfill the requirements, it is hard to do achieve this in all areas of the website.
 

To me, language is a prime accessibility issue that rules out a large percentage of the world's population and that is too colossal a task to be solved by individual website owners. I hope that visitors can enjoy my website on a visual level, no matter what language they speak. I have also included alt texts for visually impaired visitors, but unfortunately they are only available in English.
 

Please understand that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. I am continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
